Volunteer Opportunities

Cleaner: 6:45–8:45 AM Tasks: Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces in the public dining area and public restrooms; cleaning windows; and vacuuming.
Grounds Worker: MWF, 7:00–11:00 AM Tasks: Mowing, trimming, weeding, fertilizing plants, trash pickup, and watering.

Smart Meals Driver: Schedule: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. biweekly (Thursday) Tasks: Using your own vehicle, drivers will assist in the pickup and delivery of Regional Food Bank donations on a biweekly basis.

Mpower Event Tabling Volunteer: Schedule will vary. Tasks: Set up and manage the MPower information table at community events. Engage with the public, provide information about MPower and its services. Distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and giveaways. Collect contact information. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the tabling area.

Living Room Host: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Tasks: Engage with members and encourage activities. Alert members to upcoming programming. Assist peers in maintaining a positive atmosphere. Assist the front desk in answering phones and greeting members. Assist with transportation needs, if possible. Make sure coffee is fresh, the beverage area is clean, garbage is emptied, and the living room is kept clear of debris.

PAWS Pet Transportation: Schedule will vary. Tasks: Using your own vehicle, drivers will assist in the transportation of members’ pets to their vet, grooming, and wellness appointments.

Pet Food Bank: Schedule will vary. Tasks: Using your own vehicle, drivers will assist in the transportation and distribution of pet food, cat litter, toys, and other supplies to our clients.
